Dr. Christopher T. Carey is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a surgical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. During this time, Dr. Carey completed a musculoskeletal oncology rotation at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as well as a pediatric orthopedic rotation at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also worked with the Rutgers University team physicians.

 

Dr. Carey completed his fellowship in sports medicine at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. During this time, he worked with the team physicians who served various sports organizations including the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and Harvard University’s varsity sports teams. Dr. Carey also completed a research fellowship at the Rothman Institute.

 

Dr. Carey has been published in various peer-reviewed orthopedic publications.
